It started in a mainstream school in the UAE, where a young girl – bright, curious, determined, was often pulled out of class for extra support. Her mother watched quietly as she and a handful of other children moved in and out of classrooms, doing their best to keep up while teachers stretched themselves thin.
Inclusion was growing. Schools were trying. But the need was growing faster.
This mother, who had spent her career helping people develop and succeed, saw something others often missed: children trying hard, teachers overwhelmed, and parents searching for answers they couldn’t always find.
Years passed. The little girl grew up, finished school, pursued Culinary Arts, went to college, and stepped into the workforce. Her mother celebrated every milestone, every achievement earned through grit and heart.
But she also noticed something else.
Some challenges hadn’t disappeared. They had changed shape.
Small comprehension gaps- the kind that go unnoticed in busy classrooms- began to affect confidence, independence, and opportunities. And with that realization came a truth that would shape everything that followed:
